HOUR OF PENANCE Signs With PROSTHETIC RECORDS

February 1, 2011

Italian death metallers HOUR OF PENANCE have inked a deal with Prosthetic Records. The band commented, "This is a very important opportunity for HOUR OF PENANCE and a big reward for almost 10 years of activity of this band.

"We're very proud to be part of the Prosthetic Records family and we're eager to start working with such a great label. A new label, a new lineup and, of course, a new album which is obviously in the works and will be recorded soon...

"Expect a new HOUR OF PENANCE album this year and of course be prepared! We will tour as much as we can in 2011!"

HOUR OF PENANCE will again spread its plague of destruction across the clubs and festivals of Europe as part of a major tour throughout June and July with DEICIDE, BELPHEGOR and THE AMENTA.

HOUR OF PENANCE's fourth album, "Paradogma", came out last March via Unique Leader Records. The CD cover art was created by Gyula Havancsàk, who has previously worked with such acts as ANNIHILATOR and DESTRUCTION.

"Paradogma" was recorded at 16th Cellar studios in Rome with producer Stefano Morabito and was mastered at Hertz Studios in Poland.

HOUR OF PENANCE's current lineup:

Giulio Moschini - Guitar
Simone Piras - Drums
Silvano Leone - Bass
Paolo Pieri - Vocals
